  • What services does your company provide?

    • We help seniors and their families navigate the entire home-selling and moving process, offering compassionate guidance, customized selling solutions, market expertise, and support from start to finish.

What service area do you cover?

    • Our primary service area is Indianapolis and the surrounding (donut) counties. However, if a property is outside of that area we’re more than happy to give some guidance to the homeowner and their family and point them to some local resources.

What are your credentials for helping seniors with their real estate needs?

    • Scott is both a licensed real estate broker (realtor) as well as an experienced real estate investor (home-buyer). He has been serving seniors professionally in various capacities for over 30 years. Since starting SeniorLife Real Estate 3 years ago, we have been able to successfully serve over 30 seniors/families with their transition. We have earned an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Why does your company help seniors exclusively?

    • Seniors have a special place in our hearts. We have been serving seniors professionally for over 30 years. They have unique needs and are vulnerable to being taken advantage of, and we want to advocate for them and lighten their load on this stressful process of transitioning.

Do you work directly with families of seniors?

    • Yes. Many of our clients are adult children or loved ones helping a senior transition to assisted living, downsizing, or moving to a safer environment.

  • Can you help if the home needs repairs or updates?

    • Absolutely. We provide options ranging from selling the home as-is to coordinating needed repairs or updates to improve the sales price—based on what best fits the owner’s and family’s goals.

How quickly can you sell a senior’s home?

    • Timelines depend on the home’s condition and the chosen selling strategy, but we can offer solutions ranging from fast, hassle-free transactions to full-market listings designed to maximize value.

How do you determine the value of a senior’s home?

    • We provide a detailed home evaluation that considers the home's condition, similar homes sold, current market trends, and the family’s goals—whether they prioritize speed, convenience, or maximum sale price.

Are you just going to lowball your clients? Are your offers fair?

    • We are transparent with our process and review the pro’s and con’s of each option we present with our clients.  Clients are free to “shop around” and compare offers.

How are you different from investors who send postcards and want to buy “as-is”?

    • Those companies offer only one solution for selling your house.  We offer multiple options for selling your home and discuss the pro’s and con’s of each one so you can make an informed decision.

    • Some are local, others are from out of state.  Some are known entities while others are not.  The question is, how do you know which ones you can trust and which ones will try and take advantage of you?  SeniorLife is a local known entity whose entire business model is dependent on referrals from local senior service providers who know us and trust us to help their clients.

What makes your company different from a traditional real estate agent?

    • We specialize exclusively in senior transitions. That means more compassion, more hands-on support, and customized solutions tailored to the needs of seniors and their families—not one-size-fits-all listings.

    • We are both a licensed realtor as well as an investor/home-buyer.  That means we can offer multiple solutions/options to homeowners that are customized to their unique needs and preferences.

I see you are a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist(R).  What is that and what benefit is that for your clients?

    • SRES designation is issued by the National Association of Realtors for those who have received extra training and education for serving the unique needs of seniors and their families. It usually also means these professionals tend to focus their attention primarily on serving seniors who wish to downsize or move to a care community.
